Wood-Mode Cabinetry in the Bay Area
Wood-Mode is the finest cabinetry we offer: American-made, built to furniture standards and finished by hand.
The kitchen below is one of ours. Senior Designer Mike Ryan planned it in Wood-Mode oak, with tall stone slabs, lit floating shelves and a wall of windows that fills the room with light.
Why our designers reach for Wood-Mode
Wood-Mode sits at the top of our lineup, and the difference starts with the wood itself. Wood-Mode is very selective about the lumber it uses, which keeps grain and color remarkably consistent from one door to the next. Every stain is applied by hand, then sealed under an extremely durable, furniture-grade finish.
The door collection has real presence, including styles made from unusually substantial one-inch-thick doors. You also get more stain options for each wood species and more standard paint colors than any other line we carry, along with specialty vintage painted finishes for a softer, collected look.
Generous where it counts
Much of what other lines treat as an upgrade, Wood-Mode includes. Walnut drawer boxes are standard, and drawer inserts and organizational accessories are part of the cabinetry cost rather than extras added at the end.
When a design calls for something outside the catalog, Wood-Mode will build it. We submit drawings for the piece, and Wood-Mode engineers and prices it as a true custom item, so a cabinet that exists only in your plans can be made to match the rest of the kitchen.
From classic to contemporary
Wood-Mode's door styles and finishes cover a wide range, from painted traditional kitchens to dark, architectural modern rooms. Select a photo to see it larger.
