About Our Studio

High-end transitional kitchen with custom Crystal cabinetry by Artistic Kitchen
A Letter from Our Founder

When I founded Artistic Kitchen in 2004, my goal was to create beautiful, custom-designed spaces that bring joy and functionality to your homes. Our success is a testament to the incredible support from our dedicated team and cherished clients.

Our mission has always been about quality, craftsmanship, and exceptional service. Every project, big or small, receives the utmost attention to detail and the finest materials, building our reputation for excellence in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Thank you, clients, for trusting us with your homes and allowing us to be part of your journey. Your satisfaction is our greatest reward. To our amazing team, your passion and skill are the foundation of our success.

We look forward to creating many more beautiful, functional, and inspiring spaces together.

Warm Regards,

Greg Sharp

Why Artistic Kitchen

What Sets Us Apart

Artistic Kitchen has designed kitchens in the Bay Area since 2004, and when clients talk about us, they talk about the people. Our designers average about twenty years in the business and know DOCA, Wood-Mode and Crystal inside and out. Very few of them ever leave, so the designer you meet at the start is very likely the one who sees your kitchen through to the end, with a technical design team behind them that checks every detail before a single cabinet is ordered.

We treat every project as a white-glove one. Your designer listens first, then plans the cabinetry around the way you cook, gather and live. We work around your team rather than the other way around: bring your own contractor or interior designer and we will gladly collaborate, or let us coordinate the installation of your cabinetry for you. Either way, our promise is simple. We are not done until you are happy with your kitchen.

Julie Binik, Senior Designer at Artistic Kitchen, in a DOCA kitchen she designed

Julie Binik

Senior Designer

Born and raised in Poland, Julie brings a European design sensibility and a natural feel for European cabinetry to everything she creates. That perspective shines through in her work today as a Senior Designer at Artistic Kitchen, where she's spent nearly 15 years crafting spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful - always tailored to how each client actually lives. She's known around the showroom for her sharp eye for detail and her skill with AutoCAD and 3D rendering, bringing every design to life long before construction begins.

Julie's design journey at Artistic Kitchen started alongside the construction and design team, working hands-on with clients through residential remodels - experience that gave her a real feel for space planning and project coordination. Before she found her way to residential design, she spent time at a fashion design and production studio in London, where she fell in love with craftsmanship, quality materials, and timeless style.

Outside of design, Julie treasures time with her family and her Goldendoodle, and you'll often find her on the tennis court when she's not in the showroom.

Mike Ryan, Senior Designer at Artistic Kitchen

Mike Ryan

Senior Designer

Mike's childhood in Ethiopia gave him the perspective of someone who has seen a lot of the world. His family's journey eventually led them to California's Napa Valley, where he finished high school before heading off to UC Davis. That well-traveled curiosity has stuck with him ever since, and it shows in the thoughtful, client-first approach he brings to every kitchen he designs.

Mike is a Senior Designer at Artistic Kitchen and has been in the design/build industry for over 35 years. His passion for kitchen design shows in every project he works on, and his ability to bring a client's vision to life, from concept through completion, is one of his greatest strengths as a designer.

Outside of design, Mike is an avid tennis player. In fact, it's how he met his wife, and the two still hit the court together to this day.

Brittany Pawluk, Interior Designer at Artistic Kitchen

Brittany Pawluk

Interior Designer

A Napa Valley native, Brittany grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of wine country, an upbringing that shaped her love of California Modern design: earthy, grounded, and deeply connected to the outdoors. That sensibility informs her work today as an Interior Designer at Artistic Kitchen. She holds a Master's degree in Interior Architecture & Design and brings that foundation to every project she designs.

Her design background began in 2006 at the Design Institute of San Diego and has included hands-on residential projects, as well as a remodel of the kids' ministry space at her church in Sunnyvale. As a former educator, Brittany brings a natural ability to guide clients clearly through every design decision, from cabinetry layouts to finish selections, and her deep product knowledge helps clients navigate the process with confidence.

That same connection to nature carries into her life outside of work, where she's happiest outside - rock climbing, scuba diving, and backpacking. She also loves to travel, and never turns down good food or great wine.

Gabriela Turek, Showroom Coordinator at Artistic Kitchen

Gabriela Turek

Showroom Coordinator

With a natural eye for design and a background in both Interior Design and Accounting, Gabriela brings a thoughtful balance of creativity, practicality, and organization to her role as Showroom Coordinator at Artistic Kitchen. After several years working in financial auditing, she followed her passion for interiors and launched a home staging studio. Her work later expanded into vacation rental renovations, including kitchen and bathroom remodels, giving her hands-on experience creating beautiful, inviting spaces.

At Artistic Kitchen, Gabriela is often the first point of contact for clients, creating a welcoming showroom experience, learning about their vision, and guiding them through the early stages of their kitchen and bath projects.

Her connection to European design is inspired by her Polish roots and love of travel, which have given her endless inspiration from architecture, interiors, and the unique character of the places she visits.

Outside of the showroom, Gabriela treasures time with her family and friends, as well as her Maltipoo and two adopted cats. She loves staying active through volleyball, tennis and skiing. Proud of her Polish heritage, she stays connected to her community by assisting the Polish Honorary Consulate in San Francisco and serving on the board of a Polish school.

Areas We Serve

Kitchens Across the Bay Area

We have one showroom, in Mountain View, and our clients come from all over the Bay Area: San Francisco and the Peninsula, Silicon Valley and the South Bay, and more and more often the East Bay. Wherever you live, the process is the same, and so is the designer who stays with your project from the first sketch until your cabinetry is in.

Danville and the San Ramon Valley

Danville has become one of the places we work most often. A growing number of our clients now come from Danville and the San Ramon Valley, and they make the drive to Mountain View to see DOCA, Wood-Mode and Crystal cabinetry side by side and to sit down with the designer who will plan their kitchen. For a Danville homeowner the process is exactly the same as for a neighbor down the street: a free 30-minute Showroom Experience, then a free 60-minute Design Consultation once you are ready to plan.
