American Cabinets for Traditional and Transitional Kitchens
American cabinetry carries the warmth of fine furniture: solid face frames, raised and recessed panels, hand-rubbed stains and painted finishes.
It is the backbone of traditional and transitional kitchens, and we design it with two American makers, Wood-Mode and Crystal.

What makes a cabinet American
Most American cabinetry is built with a face frame, a hardwood frame around the front of each cabinet. Doors can sit inset within the frame for a classic, furniture-like look, or overlay it for a cleaner line. Shaker, raised panel and recessed panel doors are all at home here.
The style ranges widely. A traditional kitchen might pair cherry or painted cabinetry with crown molding and a furniture-style island, while a transitional kitchen keeps the warmth but simplifies the details for a lighter, more current feel.

Wood-Mode and Crystal

Wood-Mode
Our highest-end line, with selective wood, hand-applied stains, furniture-grade finishes and walnut drawer boxes as standard. Its door collection includes unusually substantial one-inch-thick doors.

Crystal
Our most versatile maker, with about 85 door styles across seven wood species and both custom (Encore) and semi-custom (Current) lines to keep a whole-home project on budget.
